Always Beautiful

April 30, 2012
only you

deep in my heart I vow
you’re the only one
my inspiration

celestial eyes diamonds shine
only shine for me
smiling soul to soul
only shine for me

loving you day by day
beyond the end of time
always beautiful to me

you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
   reigning crown robed in majesty
   always beautiful to me

drawn into your embrace
magic near and close
my inspiration

carousel skies minstrels shine
only shine for me
dancing soul to soul
only shine for me

loving you day by day
beyond the end of time
always beautiful to me

you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
   reigning crown robed in majesty
   always beautiful to me

we sail away far across the sea
a palace of silver and gold made for you and me
timeless together bound to each other
whispering tongues linger long after we surrender
sealed with the sacred kiss of life
our spirits dance as one smiling sweetly in Avalon

you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
   reigning crown robed in majesty
   always beautiful to me

always beautiful to me

George, what a lovely tribute to love. An antidote to my bleeding poem of yesterday! Left you a message on mine.
May you always shine in the beauty of your words in the poem, my dear friend. Bless you. S

Thanks, Shaheen! To truly know the joy and the sorrow one must know both extremes…we just might be covering the full spectrum.
      Peace,
      George

Thanks, Francina! The basic melody is written but the full arrangement is still in the works. I will definitely record it, I hope sooner than later!

    hi there
I hope that this “you” that u have written about is not a phantom but a reality to you… though realities are relative most of the times.

Hello! Yes, she was real. There are times, of course, when imagination leads to the development of an idea, character or situation, but not in this case. In fact, she was the inspiration for this entire series of songs along with the circumstances at the time.

      Thanks for stopping by!

Such a lovely love poem! Beautiful!

Lovely poem… It almost has the feel and rhythm of a villanelle…

    • May 11, 2012 9:34 pm

Thanks! Can’t say that I had a villanelle in mind but I like the reference. Perhaps in similar fashion, I usually don’t follow a traditional form as much as adapt one and/or establish a pattern once I’ve settled on a concept. Variety!
