Turn Your Heart Around

April 11, 2012
There’s a lady all alone
she lays crying all alone
oh she’s praying to believe
and she’s pleading to be free
oh lady can you see, oh lady you will see
you will be alright, you will be alright
you will find peace of mind

dark soul paces all alone
through crowds spying all alone
oh she’s searching to believe
and she’s waiting to be free
oh lady can you see, oh lady you will see
you will be alright, you will be alright
you will find peace of mind

when princes and fairy tales leave you
hanging in the air
when the ghost of nevermore haunts you
no one seems to care

just turn your heart around, everything will be alright
keep the sun in your eyes, you will find peace of mind
just turn your heart around, everything will be alright
oh sweet lady you will be alright, you will be alright
   it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright

feeling forsaken you will awaken
the joys of living will be yours again
keep the sun in your eyes, you will find peace of mind
you will call and love will answer
you will know you are not alone
your heart will be strong the pain will be gone
you will know you are not alone
keep the sun in your eyes, you will find peace of mind
the truth will come to you, faster than the speed of light
you will be alright

just turn your heart around, everything will be alright
keep the sun in your eyes, you will find peace of mind
just turn your heart around, everything will be alright
oh sweet lady you will be alright, you will be alright
oh sweet lady can you see, you will be alright
oh sweet lady you will see, you will be alright
just turn your heart around, everything will be alright
you will be alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
you will be alright, it’s alright, it’s alright
it’s alright, sweet lady it’s alright

Time with the guitar is always something special but these days most of my creative energy is poured into composing and studio work. Maybe one of these days though! Do you perform often?

My dear, I do not perform – only amongst family and friends at home gatherings. Not at all a professional musician, in whatever profession means…lol. Cheers.

No doubt! If I hear other voices singing in my head (apart from the usual ones!) I’ll know why!
